Cloud Training Services offers online and onsite Microsoft Training to DIR-eligible customers. These customers include Texas state agencies, county, and local government offices, public institutions of higher education and school districts, and public entities outside Texas.

SERVICES COVERED UNDER THIS CONTRACT INCLUDE

924-40: Instructor-Led Training

Instructor-Led Training– Even with so many online tutorials, in-person or online classroom training with a live instructor is still preferred by most employees. Students can ask questions of the instructor throughout the course and work through examples.

 

HOW TO ORDER

Online Open Enrollment Classes: The easiest method for enrolling is to locate the class on this website and click on the class link. Select individual enrollment and then enter the registration information. Enter the coupon code DIR14 and then click on the amount field. This code will give you the DIR pricing of 14% off the regular price of the class.

NOTE: You will not be able to use the Group Enrollment link to use the DIR14 code. You may pay by purchase order or by credit card (procurement card). If paying by purchase order payment is not due until after the class.

OVERVIEW OF CLASSES

Cloud Training Services provides hands-on instructor-led classes in products such as Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook. In today's changing environment, most of our classes are provided using GoToMeeting. GoToMeeting has a free download and works very similar to Zoom or Teams. Students receive a quick overview at the beginning of every class that will help them become familiar with GoToMeeting.

Each student receives a PDF of the book, access to class files, and online live instructions from a trainer. After the class, students may email the instructor with questions on topics covered in the class. If the student would like to take a free retake of the class, they are allowed to do so within one year of the original class offering.

At the request of the customer, we can provide private online or onsite classes. There is no minimum number of students, however, there is a set rate. The pricing is based on up to 15 students. See the contact information below to discuss private classes.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT WITH OPEN ENROLLMENT CLASSES

Registration for open enrollment classes is done on this website.

Registration is simple:

  1. Select the class and click on the link to see details about the class.

  2. At the bottom of the page click on Register Individual.

  3. Complete the student enrollment information.

  4. Indicate in the comments field DIR-CPO-TMP-560

  5. Enter the coupon code DIR14.

  6. Click the amount field and you will see the adjusted price.

  7. You may pay for the class using a credit card (procurement card) or a Purchase Order.

  8. An invoice will appear. Print the invoice.

  9. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address entered in the Email field that has the red asterisk. This is the required email field.

  10. If the student Is different than the person registering for the class please enter the student’s email address. We will send the class materials and meeting link to the student email.

  11. Within five days prior to the class, the student will receive a meeting invitation with the online class link, a PDF of the book, and instructions on how to download the files for the class.

 

PRIVATE CLASSES

For private online or onsite classes, complete the Contact Us form on our website and we will call you as soon as possible. You can also call Darla Cloud at 806-793-3301.

 

CANCELLATION DEADLINE

You can cancel an online open enrollment class up to 5 days prior to the class at no charge. Once you receive the email with the class material you will no longer be allowed to cancel the class. However, you can send a substitute.

You can cancel an onsite open enrollment class up to 10 days prior to the class at no charge. After the deadline, you will no longer be allowed to cancel the class. However, you can send a substitute.

Private-onsite or online classes must be canceled no later than 15 days prior to the class date. If a class is canceled within 15 days or sooner of the class you will be charged one-half the price of the class.

CUSTOMIZED/PRIVATE CLASSES FOR YOUR ORGANIZATION
